Battery draining too fast

I am loosing around 5% to 7% battery a day. Is this normal? I have oxygen measuring turn off all day.

The biggest power consumer is SpO₂ (PulseOx), GPS, and then diverse 3rd party CIQ watch faces.

I am experiencing similar drainage and actually keep track of it atm because the battery life feels worse than my previous GI1 Solar so far.

I went from 100% on 19th at midday to 78% on 22. on midday,…

Please sync your watch to save data, then perform the following reset:

It is recommended to read the steps below in full before performing them.

Ensure the watch is powered off.
- You may need to hold CTRL for up to 30 seconds to turn the watch off.
Press and hold ABC, GPS, and SET.
Press LIGHT to power the watch on while holding these three buttons.
After the first beep release GPS.
After the second beep release the remaining buttons.

The watch will now apply the reset and once finished will prompt user to select language and complete setup. Allow the watch up to 20 minutes to acquire satellite data with a clear view of the sky.

On my MK2 which I have had just over 2 years drains 100% in just over a day you would think a dive watch smart watch for this price would last a bit longer and as I am going diving in March and won’t have time to send it to Garmin to replace the battery as working out of the country will have to purchase another dive computer have learned my lesson

Hi not sure why you are complaining I have a MK2 decent just over two years old it loses 100% in just over a day and have to try sent it to Garmin to have the battery replaced but as I work out of my country of residence don’t have time before my next diving trip and to think I bought the mk2 for myself wife daughter and son won’t be making that mistake again so I would be happy if my watch lost 10% a day as of now I don’t know if it will finish one dive what a waste of money if it only lasts 2 years

I have the same issue. reset watch back to default settings. fully charged and then reset watch it is still losng about 6 days everyday. watch lasts 1 week and i am om 16.11.

Hi guys, for me the reset helped only for a while and then it happened again. Send the watch back and got new one, which I was using for 1,5 years without problems.
