Hello.
I think the topic is being discussed, but I would like to expand on these aspects.
There is still no option to add strength exercises, mobility, crossfit. There is no option to add such exercises with a body map and there is no option to configure these exercises. My proposal is that there should be an option to choose for each exercise on a machine, on a pulley, on rubber bands, dumbbells, barbells or body weight. Recently, icons have appeared in the description of the exercise that will be in the next series. If there was an option to choose the type of equipment on which the exercise is performed, it would make it easier to recognize the exercise from the database, because the number of exercises on the list could be shortened, but configuration options could be provided, e.g. raising the arms to the sides (there is an option with dumbbells, but also on a pulley, there is even an option with a barbell for the initiated). Then the icon of the type of exercise and equipment makes more sense. Besides, the icons are a bit too small. Please enlarge the developer section.
The second issue concerns the Equipment Section in the Garmin Connect section. There is still no option for more configuration. Not all equipment can be measured in kilometers. For example, powerlifting or crossfit shoes do not have the option of wear through working hours or the number of training kilograms that have been transferred with their help. When it comes to endurance sports, assigning only to running or cycling is not enough. Athletes run or ride in rotation of equipment. For example, a shoe for tempo runs, a shoe for Long Run with maximum cushioning, a daily trainer for Easy Run, a time trial bike for competitions, a road bike for daily training, a gravel bike for cross triathlon competitions and so on. There are too few configuration options in the equipment section. Just assigning it to running and monitoring wear using kilometers is not enough. Please expand these settings. At the moment I run in 5 pairs and have 3 bikes, I also have several wetsuits and swimming goggles for swimming. Constantly editing workouts to enter and edit equipment is very burdensome and generates a very large loss of time. Maybe it doesn't matter to amateurs, but I think Garmin also aims at athletes. Triathletes in particular have a lot of equipment and a lot of Training units. So I ask for this segment to be expanded to provide more configuration options and monitor consumption.
Regards.
