My Fenix 7Pro has stopped recording distance on racket sports. (HRM-Pro-plus)

Distance was recorded correctly on sports like Padel until apx June 25. Now support says that distance is not supported on other activities than running.
Can anyone confirm this, or do your Feix record distance on sports like Tennis and Padel?

    Same for me. It was working on cardio activity, and now I don't get any distance.

    If you wish to continue using the HRM-Pro Plus as your distance source, then you can troubleshoot it by following the steps outlined here: Calibrating the Pace and Distance Feature on a Compatible HRM

    The fenix 7 Pro can use an internal accelerometer or a connected sensor (like the HRM-Pro Plus) to estimate distance when GPS isn't available. However, due to the nature of indoor sports like padel or tennis (which involve quick changes in direction, irregular movements, and variable arm motion), several things can be misinterpreted as steps taken which will impact your distance. We are always refining our software to give you the best distance based on the inputs your watch receives.

    Do you even read original msg? It was working fine 2 months ago, and stopped after update.

    Thanks for the follow-up. I double-checked this with our internal helpdesk to confirm the current behavior.

    At this time, the HRM-Pro Plus can only provide pace and distance data for indoor run and indoor walk activity profiles. For indoor racket sports (like Padel or Tennis) or cardio activities, the chest strap won’t send distance data to the watch. If you record the activity without the HRM-Pro Plus, your watch’s internal accelerometer will still attempt to estimate distance--though the accuracy can vary quite a bit due to the irregular and multidirectional motion that's common in these sports.

    What I don't understand is that distance was recorded fine until June this year. 

    Before June a 2 hour padel match recorded apx 6 km, from June the recorded distance is like 0,5 km for å 2 hour match.

    Tested with an old fotsensor today, it recorded distance fine!

    This is not a big issue.

    For info, my wife has Fenix 7S and HRM Fit. Distance is recorded om racket activities.

    So, if it's by design that distance is not recorded, it's not very consistent..
