ECG

I use to have the ECG on my fenix 7s pro. How come it is not vailable anymore?

  • 1) In Connect,  3 dot Menu, Garmin Devices, click your Fenix 7 device. If you see "Finish Setup", click it and you can enable ECG there.

    2) If you don't see  "Finish Setup" directly, then delete your Fenix 7 device and readd it back again (se below), "Finish Setup" will reappear.

    To delete Fenix 7 device: in Connect -> Garmin Devices, long tap on device -> Remove Device. On Android, you might need to remove the Fenix 7 device also from your devices in the Bluetooth list.

    Then add the device in Connect back again (on your Fenix 7, you might need also to enable Settings -> Connectivity -> Phone -> Pair Phone).

    After re-adding the device into Connect, you will get the following Connect settings reset to their default values:

    Connect -> Garmin Devices -> your Fenix 7 device -> Text Responses 
    Connect -> Settings -> Notifications


  • If still missing the ECG app, please try these steps and let us know how it goes: 

    1. Log into Connect.garmin.com
    2. Remove device
    3. Remove device from both Garmin connect app on phone and Bluetooth settings. 
    4. Sign out Garmin connect mobile
    5. Sign back in 
    6. Connect device again
    7. It shows up again in finish set up device and the customer is able to complete ECG set up
  • thanks, could you please let me know if it will remove the data from my epix pro or it will retain it? what about settings will it remain or it will be reset to default?
