Fw. 23.18 for Pro models?

Looks like they’ve only released 23.18 for non-pro models, but when I search for update in the system settings on my 7x Pro it started to download an update and failed with a error message at 90% or more saying software synchronization failed. I however see that I have the 23.18 ready to install on my watch now..

Anyone knows what’s going on? Are the release notes wrong on this site?

FWIW I have 23.18 on my 7 Pro Solar and it's fine.

Yes they are incomplete. Their announcement posts in the beta forums are littered with mistakes so I'm not surprised about the way they are...

Had the same issue on my fenix 7 pro this morning. I was checking for updates manually then it started to download. The green circle completed but nothing happened, no reboot no firmware file placed on the watch to install. I think Garmin just lost its way. I was having my fenix 6 pro since 2019 we had many updates, some are bad, but mostly feature enhancments and implementations. I am still pissed by te fact that the fenix 7 cannot be locked with a passcode and for my privacy they force me to do a freaking 2FA after ECG setup. Seriously Garmin? The alarm label can only be a pre-set few texts from the firmware, no custom labels. My GT 5 Pro can set a custom label for an alarm, so i can remember what was it for.

Thanks for the feedback! I didn’t bother trying installing it and have just finished resetting my watch. Think I’ll keep auto updating off and stick with 22.06 as for now.

7 solar had the same problem, synchronisation failed. I installed the update and everything works.

This should be available ...

This Public version is available on Epix Pro, without Forum announcement like her, but Garmin is Garmin
