Dear all,
I have tested for the first time this week end, the navigation route during a hiking sessions.
For that I have prepared first my route on a hiking tool and then import the GPX on my watch.
Then I sent up my new Hiking session to use the imported GPX file as a navigation route.
Then I start my hiking activity.
Trouble I find out :
- As soon as my activity is started, the only way I can swicth to different screen of my Hiking is to press on the middle button on the left side of my watch. Wen my activity is not started, I can simply use the touch screen to slide up and down the screen. Is it a normal behaviour or a bug ?
- When I finaly able to select my Navigation screen, it is really difficult to see the route that I have prepared on the tool. If I zoom in the path to follow the rout color is really thin and if I change the color of the root on my watch for the map it is not applied to the imported GPX file ?
- I have notice when looking at navigation screen I have the feeling that the map is not oriented properly based on the setting . It is set as Direction on Top ?
- When I have select my navigation screen, and start to use the zoom feeature, I am unable to come back to a dfferent screen of my activity , the middle button does not work anymore as it is still connected to zoom action, any idea and to exit from zoom action ( + and - ) and how to come back to previous activity screen ?
- I understood that if I am off road, my watch should notify me but it does not any iidea why ?
I know this is a lot of question but this week end I get so much trouble to use the navigation map, that I finally ends up and take my handle GPS but that is a bit sad, I am sure all of us face same navigation trouble and this is why I post this.
