Living My Best (Stable) Life at 15.77 since 2024

While you all are out there playing firmware roulette—beta-testing, factory-resetting, and praying to the GPS gods—I’m happily stuck with 15.77 on my Fenix 7x and Epix 2 pro. No surprises, no drama, just pure, unadulterated stability.

I’ve officially retired from the "Let’s-Update-and-Panic" support group. My watch works. My maps load. My battery lasts. Why mess with perfection?

To the brave souls hoping that 22.06 will be as stable as 15.77: In bocca al lupo! WolfSparkles May your dreams of bug-free performance come true… someday. As for me? I’m not chasing firmware fairy tales. I’m too busy actually using my watch without existential dread.

  • 22.06 works great on my 7S Pro Sapphire. Haven't had any problems since upgrading the day it came out. I couldn't point to a single outstanding bug. I ride or run ~7 times a week, I hike, I use the maps & weather and ECG, several Garmin Connect apps and data fields. I store music and playlists on it and play over Bluetooth, and use a HRM Pro Plus, cadence and power sensors. All fine. Just wish I hadn't scratched the glass.

  • I can confirm that everything works perfectly. I use it for my training sessions, races, and hikes, with all kinds of maps and trails preloaded with various apps; everything works. Maybe it's because I don't use it for PlayStation gaming Grin

  • It's fine the latest firmware versions, even on beta im running.Last charge was 29/07 now (19/08) still on 61%  with 0.081%/h its helpful with pure sun im on vacation on Zante Greece.I have stopped training so not much GPS use.I have not noticed any issue or bug on sensors. The only issue i see on all versions is battery indicator is not updated when you harvest Solar energy you have to reboot the watch in order to change the actual Solar harvest. The issue is that Garmin doesn't provide new features only password they gave us
