Could 22.06 be the new 17.28 ?

With every new firmware version coming out for the Fenix 7 line, I'm watching this forum closely to see, if this might be a new stable release or rather not.
While usually the pages quickly fill with bug reports, this time I have the feeling, 22.06 is behaving rather nice!

I would be interested in feedback from people also looking for a stable watch, running this firmware version without issues.
I'm running a pretty stable setup ony my Fenix 7X Pro with just one custom watch face and few datafiels / apps:

Digital For TactixD v2 Beta
Heartrate zone diagram from Ronny Winkler
Elevation|Grade Chart Pro
Astro Darkness
Battery log

I'm also running my watch in a pretty conservative setup. No wifi, bluetooth connection only for synching with Garmin Connect, some ANT+ connections to a polar HR strap and my EBike and I'm not doing any navigation, just tracking my hikes and biking activities.
I'm still running on 17.28 since this works absolutely stable for me and with 8-15 hours of GPS tracked activities per week and sleep tracking gives me 7-12 days of battery runtime.

I'm interested in upgrading to a newer firmware just for one single reason which is that I'm excluding myself from more and more updates for the datafields etc. I use. Also a new version of the TactixD watchface seems to be in the works but it will require a newer version of the API so this would force me to upgrade.

So how's your experience?
Do you think 22.06 could replace 17.28 as a stable release?
My feeling is that I read about the usual HR issues that some have, some very few mentions of battery issues and aside of that mainly problems / crashes while navigating.
Anything else?
One drawback that I see that I will get is that still there's a problem with elevation calibration at the beginning of an activity using DEM which works on 17.28 but still doesn't seem to be fixed in the current version right?

Version 22.06 seems stable to me, although I did notice a crash when using the navigation screen while trail running (as I did with version 17.28). One area where it's still not entirely stable is when viewing the navigation screen after the watch has been in standby mode: the location indicator moves randomly across the screen before returning to the correct position on the trail (this didn't happen in 17.28). I hope they fix these things with the new betas.

After some time with navigation active, with the navigation screen set, the watch freezes, and the coordinates of the point where I was when the crash occurred appear at the bottom.
The buttons no longer work, and I have to turn the watch off and on again while holding down the light button.
This only happens when trail running: I tried keeping the navigation screen on for hours while hiking, and it never happened.

The crash is completely random: it doesn't always happen.

It's strange. I  trail running a lot with navigation. And my watch has never freezes. But about once a month it  freezes in watch mode, without activity. Firmware 17.28

I’m still holding on 15.77 without a single problem to me but with no new or update IQ apps .

Eager to be able to safely upgrade .

I was with 15.77 for a while without any problem.

After getting a new watch from Garmin support (problem with HR not working anymore) I moved to 22.06 and since then no problem neither.

Doing lot of trail running with navigation for hours in mountains, switching between screens, and it never crashed so far.

I did not notice elevation calibration issue, but Im recalibrating quite often after reaching points where I know altitude. However there is never much altitude difference.

Battery life seems more or less the same than with 15.77.

I did not experience any issue after 3 months of intensive use. Crossing fingers..

That sounds promising.

I am also still staying on 17.28 and waiting finally for a stable new fw without new issues. Or without old issues - they have recently re-introduced the old issue with not remembering the weight from last set.
Will watch closely and hope!

I am sitting at 19.41 and hesitate to update. Is 22.06 really stable? Especially HR reading is better?

with 19.41 I went a FULL OUT 5km run, it detected me in zone2. Went back to chest strap.

Maybe 23.08 might be even better that 22.06, because it also fixes the HR measuring issue which has been here fomr months. I believe the issue is still in 22.06

But it is still in beta, let's wait for final release.
