Being prompted to restore backup every time I restart my F7SS

As per the subject - I am being prompted to restore backup every time I restart my F7SS with "restore default settings and apply this backup on restart"

This is new and appears to be after applying firmware 21.19.

Is there any documentation on what happens if I restore vs not?

    You mentioned this occurs when you "restart" your watch. Are you referring to powercycling (press and hold the Light button, then select power off, confirm)? Or are you select to restore defaults…

    You mentioned this occurs when you "restart" your watch. Are you referring to powercycling (press and hold the Light button, then select power off, confirm)? Or are you select to restore defaults? 

    If the watch is being reset (factory reset or restore defaults) restoring a back up with return your settings to their current configuration. If you dont do this, your setting would return to the factory defaults. 

    You should not be prompted to restore backup, if you are only powering the watch off and on again.

    This is after a power cycle, not a factory reset or restore.
