21.19 palm gesture not working

Hi everybody,

this issue was raised several times in the past, yet it did work fine until now.

Has anyone the same problem?

About the feature: If you cover your watch screen with your palm (while in any submenu) while you have touchscreen enabled the watch would display the homescreen with the clock.

Yesterday I faced the problem with palm covering the watch face not working as expected, rebooting the watch made it work again.

Unfortunately a reboot does not fix the problem on my side.

Is there somewhere an option to disable (and thus reenable) this function? Maybe developer options?

Just to let you know, I'm not aware of any developer option like that/can't recall setting it up in any specific way.

You can disable & reenable the touchscreen itself (which you tried probably already?) but as far as I know not the option with the palm cover, I just checked the developer menu - nothing there.

With my system on 21.19 fortunately I didn't encounter THIS problem and I'm using the palm move everytime.

Btw: Did you just reboot by powering down and switching back on or did you try a hard reset already: Press light button until it's off (first the wheel appears, then Garmin Help and when you hold even longer it powers off), then back on. Try the latter if not done already.
