21.19 Battery is significantly better than previous

I'm not sure what the difference is specific to 21.19, but for the past two years of owning the 7X solar, I've averaged approx. 5% of battery use per day. After 21.19, I'm averaging 3% a day, even with some decent flashlight usage. That's giving an extra 8 or so days of battery before needing to charge.

Whatever Garmin did for this one, I'm happy with that part!

I'm averaging more like 5%/day without activities but yeah, in general battery seems more on a 17.28 level for me.

Battery life is definitely better this go around compared to previous versions. I’ve seen approximately 3.5% drain with some light gps and strength training

I've been running 16.22 since November on my Fenix 7 Pro SS and decided to give 21.19 a try due to the reports of better battery life and this, so far, has the best battery life that I've ever seen on my watch (which is a little over a year old). I have not done any GPS activities because of the weather (a lot of rain with flood watch in our area) but may do one today weather permitting.

I've looked through the bugs reported and I don't think that what I've seen so far will affect me but it will take a week to really find out.

fenix 7 pro user here, I upgraded to 21.19 and idle battery consumption is ~2x of 17.28 after 24 hours, will wait 1 more day and revert back.

Fenix 7x solar on 17.28 has consumption around 2% @day on idle and around 4%@hr following a course with per second logging and all sats but not multiband.

I'm getting 0.25%/hour for the past four days with 6.5 hours of activity with about one-third of that with GPS on. This is on par for me with 17.28 and 16.22 or maybe even better. Notifications, Bluetooth and WiFi are turned off and I have a simple watchface. This is on a Fenix 7 Pro Solar.

The same here, about %25/hr with 21.19 but with 17.28 it is %13-14/hr on idle. Activity comsuotion shows no difference so far but haven’t tested with gps.
