apps for running and powerworkout changed?

It seems that I can no longer start the running (dutch: hardlopen) app and power (dutch: kracht) in FREE mode. I have so set-up all sorts of things such as warming up etc. Since last update this occured. I was used in switching on running and go.... very inconvenient. using a fenix 7s

I"m not 100% sure, but at least in the case of running, it sounds like you're being prompted for a daily suggested workout and you're accepting the workout? If you're prompted to do a workout, you should be able to dismiss the prompt by pressing the DOWN or BACK button. You can also turn off the daily suggested workout prompt as follows:

(Yeah it's the FR265 manual, but I think the procedure should be similar for Fenix 7).

With regards to the kracht (strength) activity, I'm not sure why you don't see the option to start a Free workout. On my watch (FR955), it's the first item in the workout list which is displayed after opening the strength activity.
