Crash caused by live event sharing ruined my race (20.22)

I only use "live event sharing" every now and then during races. So on saturday: but my Fenix 7 Pro immeduately crashed when pressing the start button. And even more: it went into a boot loop for the rest of the race.

It is reproducable and can only bevsolved by disabling Bluetooth on the phone.

Thevwhole warch is a mess currently..... no idea how I survived the race (actually, th HM went very bad).

I am sorry to hear this is occurring. For the boot loop concern, please try the following troubleshooting method for devices stuck in boot loop, and if not resolved with these steps, your device will need to be exchanged.

NOTE: This deletes all Settings, Profiles, Courses, Workouts, Segments, Personal Records, Totals, History, Connect IQ content.

It is recommended to read the steps below in full before performing them.

    1. Ensure the watch is powered off.
    2. You may need to hold LIGHT for up to 30 seconds to turn the watch off.
    3. Press and hold START/STOP, and BACK/LAP.
    4. Press LIGHT to power the watch on while holding these two buttons.
    5. After the first beep release START/STOP.
    6. After the second beep release BACK/LAP.
    7. The watch is now reset and ready for use.
  • I will further check after 21.x update: first try did not cause this issue.

  • I do the steps after finishing my half marathon race. Watch is in use afterwards but I don't want to have same experience on next race.

I would like to help investigate this further in order to mitigate this problem for future races.
