Fenix 7 Pro just stops at start screen with the Fenix logo. The laptop with Garmin Express still recognizes the watch but Garmin connect doesn´t. Soft reset didn´t work. Any idea what can do please?

I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. For this, there are some additional troubleshooting steps I would recommend trying.

    • Since the computer is seeing the watch, be sure to sync this with Garmin Express. If the data is not syncing, you can manually import activities using these steps: How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?
    • You mentioned Garmin Express and the computer are seeing the watch. If this is a Windows computer, I would recommend first trying to remove some stored files from the watch:
      1. While connected to the computer open the watch drive
      2. Open the Garmin folder
      3. Delete the contents of these files: Activities, Courses, Workouts, Locations, Remotes SW, Temp Files, and New Files.
      4. Disconnect the watch from the computer
      5. Powercycle the watch
    • If this is still not powering normally, I would recommend completing a Factory reset using these steps:
    1. Ensure the watch is powered off.
      • You may need to hold LIGHTfor up to 30 seconds to turn the watch off.
    2. Press and hold BACK and START/STOP.
    3. Press LIGHT to power the watch on while holding these two buttons.
    4. After the first beep release START/STOP.
    5. After the second beep release the remaining button.
  • Thanks for the help.

Meanwhile I contacted the Garmin support and they could fix it over the phone (giving the instructions as you wrote ;)

    Much appreciated!
