Many questions, ECG App in the United Kingdom still just a feature for the future. Bluetooth audio playback crackling.

Anyone mananged to activate ECG in the uk? This is my third watch in the last 6 weeks for various issues. My first was having bluetooth audio issues. They ordered a new one and it had a craked case near the temp sensor out of box. Another one was ordered, this one also have bluetooth crackling after playing for 15 minutes. My latest is with me few days and already did 6 factory reset on it. I did a reset yesterday to set up fresh and activate ECG. Well it turns out, we can not, because its not there.

Anyone experiencing audio playback crackling issues? 5 different headset does the same on my first fenix 7 pro and on my latest fenix 7 pro. Soundcore P20i, Sonundcore P20X ,Sony WI-1000XM2, and two logitech bluetooth headsets.

Seriously these watches should be knocked down around the £200 price range. Because right now they not worth £579 I might just bring it back to the store and ask for a refund.

    I have it more than year and I'm here in the UK. I activated with non official method, there are plenty of write ups on Reddit, Google etc.

    Try to remove your watch from connect, delete Bluetooth, clear caches on Connect and delete data or uninstall and reinstall again. If you setting up again just don't fully finish the setup, like don't setup Garmin pay or music and just skip it and later if still no ECG you can go back to finish your setup. If the above again fails then you can use the non official method, just Google how to activate ECG in Europe, very easy.

    Regarding the audio playback I can't comment I'm not using it.

    Those methods are not working anymore. It seems that the loopholes are patched up. I have installed fake location on my phone, set the location as desired, disabled wifi. By using vpn even my ip location were correct and matching to geo ocation. Tomtom and Sygic GPS put me in the right place on the map for verification. Disabled wifi and gps on the watch itself. and still my location is not supported. I have reinstalled connect by countless times. Once it started the setup and forced me for the 2FA to be enabled. If data is soooo important, than why the watches don't have password on them.

     Seriously disappointed with this purchase. I am sufficiantly versed in IT/ Electronics and modern tech by being an engineer.

    I forgot to mention that change your location info on Garmin website. 

    I also did that when I set it up ECG. Maybe you are right and they patched this but like I said I have ECG more than a year. If it's works than normally change back to your current location.

    • Be sure as well that the phone OS, and the Connect app are on the latest versions. 
    • Ensure your Connect app location is set correctly, and be sure your phone's Location services for the app are enabled.
    • In the app, select the device, and tap on Finish Setup. If the ECG is available, tap on this to finish ECH setup.
    • If this is missing from Finish setup, I would recommend removing the watch from the app. Powercycle the watch and phone. Then pair this again with the app.
