7X Hunt App; "Back to Start" requires subscription??!?!?!? This was an existing feature!

Hi;

I rarely but on occasion use the "back to start" navigation feature. This was present on the F5, and also on my F7X pro/solar/sapphire/whatever.

Today, on the "Hunt" activitiy / app, I attempted to use "back to start" - and it displayed a QR code and stated I needed a subscription.!!

This was an existing feature, that I paid for when I brought the watch for many coins.

WTF?

Sounds weird. Did you check where the qr code leads you to?

Hi, sorry but which Hunt app ?

i don't have it on my F7Xss, is it native or did you obtain it from the Connect Store ?

The one from Garmin on the store is Hunt & Fish, but not updated since 2023.

It's just called "Hunt" in my 7X. It has been a native Garmin App in my 7X from day one.

The "Hunt" one? Not the newer "Hunt and Fish" one. Did you try the "back to start" feature? Software version 20.22

Could you check where the qr code leads to? It would be very interesting. I don't know of any Garmin subscription model for the Fenix except for the outdoor maps+, but i guess that would also not make sense in your scenario. Maybe it's a bug that leaks a future subscription model...

QR code has text below it "Outdoor Maps+ subscription required" - takes me to a US website requiring payment (i'm Aus).
