Many people with Garmin workout and probably have low rest hr. But why limit ecg so you need to have 50 in hr? My resting rate was 42 today. I recommend Garmin to lower the value 50 to 40 instead.

I totally agree that the ECG feature will be useless for a significant proportion of Garmin's user base. I am a reasonably, but not excessively, fit 63 year old with a resting heart rate of about 44 according to my Epix Pro. If I am excluded then many, many more will be.
