Indoor bouldering + climbing. Why is there no activity type that simply registers the workout as climbing without requiring grade inout or switching modes?

I find it incredibly frustrating that there is no way to log a mixed indoor climbing activity that will simply save it as indoor climbing and push it as such to Strava as well. I don't want to use my watch to select grades, if I want to track my workout I will use my phone for that, take notes, etc. I tried to "add" my own activity type, but even when you name it "Indoor climbing" it still sets the type to "other" and not climbing and/or bouldering. Many climbers warm up on boulders and then go lead or top rope, switching activities mid session is also not great.

There should be an indoor rock climbing activity type that doesn't force you to select grades or switch between bouldering and ropes! Can the grade selection in bouldering be made optional? It would be fine if the whole workout is logged as bouldering for me, but it's dumb that the app shows "0 routes completed" after a 2h session when switching the activity type manually afterwards, and indoor climbing only logs rope routes automatically, and is not able to detect shorter (bouldering routes) at all.

There must be some solution to this...
