Custom golf clubs - missing

My custom golf clubs have disappeared and all I am getting are the generic clubs.

My custom clubs are still in the Garmin Golf app and in Connect on my laptop.

Whats going on?

  • This continues to be an issue however the problem is not consistent.  One day my clubs will be there and the next I will be back to a set of generic clubs.

    Can Garmin at least acknowledge my issue please?

  • I am having the same issue.  I didn't play for a while, but last fall I setup some new clubs such as a 7 wood and removed hybrids from my golf bag in my profile on the Garmin Golf app.  These updates were reflected on the Epix Gen 2 watch.  Then recently I noticed they went away, and the list was the old default list.  I tried re-syncing and restarting both devices, but my updates/changes are not reflected in the golf activity on my watch.  Frustrating. 

  • Update as of August 18th, 2025: 

    Garmin is in the process of working on a fix for this concern, and once available I will post here as it becomes released in a future public update release for the sensors reverting from the custom changes made in the "My Bag" menu of the Garmin Golf app. 

    We currently have a fix for the club sensor concern in the latest public beta software available for fenix 7/ which is currently on version 23.08, with the fix for the club sensor list on the watch being introduced through the beta 23.06 update that was released at the end of July 2025. (Changelog for the fenix 7/fenix 7 Pro/epix Gen 2/epix Gen 2 Pro/Enduro 2/Quatix 7/MARQ Gen 2 public beta update containing the fix for golf club list referenceable in the link here ).
