So why does this Official Software have so many bugs that have yet to be addressed. From not being able to select which Credit card to use with Garmin Pay to Genuine Garmin HRM's not being able to track HR data properly due to drop outs, including even worse ability to download the same data. Something when using a 2nd watch Fenix 6x and the same Ant+ protocol, which works properly. Even music doesn't work properly. It appears all these issues were mentioned in the Beta Forums, but NOT addressed. Personally I have many Garmin Devices, but when my old wahoo bike computer can connect to an ant+ device, and record accurately but my Expensive Fenix 7 cannot, with no updates in sight, this is bad

Many users have already left a lot of irritation and feedback on the 20.XX version on the forum.

Since Garmin released Fenix 8, the software in the Fenix 7 family watches has been getting worse and worse with more and more bugs and problems. I don't know if they do it on purpose, but the amount of bugs they managed to create with almost no new features is ridiculous.

Unfortunately, I don't know if we as users can do anything. Garmin doesn't care about us at all, just like the people in the Beta Program, who reported most of the problems much earlier, and Garmin simply released a "stable" version with all these bugs.

Yes. In Australia, we do have options, not being able to do as advertised, but MUST go through the retailer. But we know it can, IF they simply fix it. A manufacturer's warranty does not need to be a prerequisite here. Personally I don't mind it not getting extra features as long as it does everything they promise/advertise with updates to fix bugs and improve compatibility.

you say "so many bugs". Could you please be more specific and just name few of them ?

I mean I use my Fenix 7 Pro Solar with 20.22 and haven't noticed any issues yet.

As a watch, used by itself, works fine. But the Fenix/epic are designed to work with external devices which is where there are currently issues. If you have Garmin pay with multiple cards you can only use one, as others are not selectable. This is still the case with beta 21.04. The main issues people are having those all revolves around ant+ and Bluetooth and dropouts. The HRM Pro cannot even upload data to the watch accurately after an activity. The optical HR has been working ok for me however. I have not tested 21.04 yet, but the sensor hub has some updates.

I use both ANT+ and BT sensors regularly and haven't had any issues since 20.22. That fixed the issue whereby sensors weren't being automatically assigned.

The ask was to be specific. You're repeating the same 'some people' stuff and intentionally using language to imply it's pervasive, which it is not.

There's ALWAYS reports of crashes! I've had them myself. Annoying for the individual obviously, especially if recurring. That doesn't make them pervasive. Some are, some aren't.

It's the 'bad actor' types on here that try to make the isolated events appear pervasive by repeating them endlessly. I doubt they have even experienced some of them themselves, yet they repeat themselves endlessly. They are the kind of folk that you wouldn't want to work with.

Including myself with HRM Pro and music and Garmin pay. It was reported and samples given including before and after HRM sync, which was worse than the choppy HR data which previously was good with a running activity. Strangely a 3rd party HRM is better, but has issues after 30minutes plus, but this may be that HRM. The Garmin was good. Just because one person has a good experience, doses not mean that all those with bad experiences should be ignored from the beta program.

Fenix 6x has a bad battery, but no such issues with the HRM or music. Haven't checked Garmin pay
