I see it's not longer on the Garmin site to buy new (in the US), but since it has what I wished the new Instinct 3 watches had, I am considering getting one because there's nothing in an Instinct 3 that isn't in a Fenix 7, hardware-wise, other than the option for a AMOLED display and torch, plus it has maps! I like MIP screens a lot. And the price is pretty good.
Will it get updates? Probably not new features, I understand, but I hope it gets updates. My old old FR235 still gets updates, but mostly time zones and boring stuff.
