The rest screen “repeat on” field became almost unreadable with black screen - it has orange background and white numbers. I will have to change the background color to white to be able to see the numbers. Anybody else having this issue?

we finally found out that Garmin is investigating some bugs.
According to Support, this is "by design"...
But my Epix 2 doesn't look like the…
Yes, this is almost impossible to read. Especially when swimming outside in the sun. It is like when they made the background around the numbers yellow, they forgot to make the numbers black.

That is one of their default answers now for whatever bug or lack of function is reported.
By this reply, they dismiss actual bug reports by implying that user misunderstands the intended behavior, while they completely disregard reported probem. Complete lack of support!
This seems to be the company's official position:
The illegible fields are a deliberate action by Garmin and the company doesn't care that users can't read these fields...
I have created a report in the Beta Program. Please vote. Maybe we can bring this problem to the attention of the Fenix 7 Beta Program admin ;)

Noticed the same issue. It’s annoying. Hopefully gamin fixes the issue of the outline they added around the rest timer making the rest timer illegible. I did find a workaround. Go to the garmin connect app, open the watch settings and do two things:
1. Activities & Apps (Current Activity if you have the swim app open on the watch) > Pool Swim > Background color, change it to black, now the rest timer outline is red and much easier to read.
2. Go back main setting screen then to System > Display > During Activity > Brightness, adjust to a higher setting so it’s easier to read.
This helped me, hoping it’ll help others while Garmin gets it together and fixes the issue as it shouldn’t take all this :)

According to Garmin, this is "by design", as referenced on posts on previous page of this thread. Garmin is the only one who does not see problem here. So they will not fix it.
I still can't believe that Garmin employees directly admitted that it is illegible due to design.
And I can't understand why it is such a problem to improve this readability.
It's a bit hard for me to believe that they are trying to annoy their users in such a stupid way...
