Feature Request: Rucking Activity on Fenix (7) Devices?

Will the rucking activity, that was introduced with the Tactix 8 Series, be available on Fenix 7 devices?

To be honest, I doubt we will see anything new added in terms of activities or functionalities, apart from bug fixing for 7 series from now on.

Desperate for this also. Being brand new to Garmin having just purchased a Fenix 7 Pro, I’m getting a very sour taste over the lack of updates for the 7 Pro. If I’d have known, I would have purchased it…

Depends on where you are and this was purchased recently (up to 14 days), you can still return it and demand refund.

Not sure, they kept providing lots of new features not that long ago for the FR 955 while the 965 had already come out (and not just simple new activities but big things like jet lag advisor, Garmin messenger integration etc). It's not a cheap watch so they (in my limited experience with the 955) keep updating it with new features even if the next generation is out. But maybe it'll just be for the 7 Pro? Who knows! But fingers crossed :)

"In GC, select edit activity, then select activity type, then scroll down to hiking, in my case I see rucking there. Once I have rucking selected, I can add the pack weight."

When will the Fenix 6 get pack weight added as a feature to track for hiking? Great that it's available for the newest Fenix watches, but from an environmental prospective of conserving precious metals and other resources it's really inappropriate to have to buy a new watch for this sort of update. We need products to be durable, not disposable.

Well, thats a HUGE bummer that Rucking isn't available on the Fenix 7. I got a note from my buddy (Enduro 3) telling me how cool the feature is. I of course got excited and tried updating software, searching everywhere only to find that this is not available on the Fenix 7.
