How to plan dedicated rest days/periods in a Garmin Coach plan?

So I almost constantly have some sort of a Garmin Coach plan active, if not for a specific event then probably just for a time goal I want to work towards.

One of my pet peeves about it though, is that I can't seem to figure out how to plan a specific rest day or period in advance, hoping to coach plan would take that into account.

I'd love to be able to plan resting days when I know I'll be traveling for example, or if I'm having a specifically busy day and I know in advance that I won't be able to go out for a run, I'd like to be able to plan that in my calendar.

For example, we're going on a week long skiing trip in 2 weeks, and I know that I won't be running there, but the coach plan will keep planning runs and won't know in advance to take those non-running days into account and plan the other workouts right before and after the trip accordingly.

Has anyone found a way to do this? Or can I just not find this feature that just feels logic to me? And if it doesn't exist, do we know if Garmin is planning on making something for this in the future?

    <span;>(The  garmin  coach thing seems to be getting quite complicated for me to grasp at present.  I am used to using one of the 3 Garmin Coach plans for 5k to marathon  which work for reasonable paces per mile ( Amy, Greg or Jeff ) which you access through the Achieve a milestone during set up,  and this can be paused.  You can also move the runs during the week . I don't think it takes your  bio stuff into account so it won't suggest rest days . Ive now noticed they've added more variations and 'features' and incorporated the Daily Suggested Workouts as an alternative.  )
