Fenix 7S Solar: Stop/Start button not working

Hi,

My Fenix 7S Solar's Stop/Start button stopped working.

I've tried a software update, factory reset (cant get it on now because the stop/start button is not working) and have been on the call center line on hold for over an hour and finally gave up ( there is no answer....)

How do I go about getting help on this - I'm heading to Everest Base camp in a few weeks and are desperate to get this fixed.

There seems to be a chronic defect with that button. If you're planning on going to the Everest, perhaps you should consider a more reliable device.

Call Garmin support ASAP. I had the same problem on my F7 Solar, they replaced it with a F7 Pro Solar for lack of stock.

I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. There are some troubleshooting steps we would recommend trying.

Ensure the watch is on the latest software version using Garmin Express.
Try cleaning the button with these steps.
1. Submerge the watch in warm/clean water for up to 10 minutes.
2. Remove the watch from the water.
3. Press the buttons repeatedly.
If the issue continues, I would recommend contact Garmin Product support, as the watch may need to be replaced.
