The activitiy worked fine until I turned on auto pause this week. Software 19.41
After turning that on, I did two 20 mile ultra run activities. One on Saturday and one on Monday.
Both time the watch rebooted when I saved.
It created a fit file each time but both where corrupt.
The first one was showing on the watch in last activity but the watch was unable to load the data.
Manual upload failed because it said already uploaded. Look at it and there was no data. So I deleted the empty one and tried again. Got an error that something is wrong with the file.
I was able to fix the first one using fitrepaittool. I think the rounds and sessions are messed up.
The second time same thing. Was on watch but couldn't load. But this time it synced with the app but it showed two activity. One that contained the data and an empty one with no data.
Both times I lost some data. Very frustrating. Could the garmin engineers pleas look into this?
Maybe it is related to the ongoing multisport issue. Since an ultra run seems to be a multisport with multiple running and pause activities.
I will avoid this activity completely for now until the issue is resolved.
Having messed up data of two 20 miler is really frustrating.
Will use the trailrunning activity for longer runs now.
