stuck in "Reset to default" loop after the latest update (13 December 2024 with software 19.34)

Hi, my Fenix 7 is stuck in "Reset to default" loop after the latest update (13 December 2024 with software 19.34). I tried the Unprompted reset, after which my watch is stuck in the starting mode showing Fenix 7... I don't get any further than that... Can I get a private message support?

    I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. Sometimes the reset process can be interrupted is there is a button stuck on the watch. So I would recommend to try cleaning the buttons. For this, submerge the watch is warm water for 10 min. Then press the buttons repeatedly. 

    Once you do this, try the reset again with these steps:

    1. Ensure the watch is powered off.
      • You may need to hold LIGHTfor up to 30 seconds to turn the watch off.
    2. Press and hold BACK and START/STOP.
    3. Press LIGHT to power the watch on while holding these two buttons.
    4. After the first beep release START/STOP.
    5. After the second beep release the remaining button.

    If you are then able, I would also recommend ensuring this is up to date with the latest SW Version using Garmin Express. If this issue continues, the device may need to be replaced, I would recommend contacting Garmin Product Support
