Maps not showing on the Run activity

Hi everyone, 

I am new to the Garmin community. Lately, I purchased a new fenix 7 Pro, and just today I installed through Garmin express the latest maps updates which includes "Course View Europe, Middle East & Africa 7.10".  

Garmin express shows on the left menù that the map is on the device (and it also load it), along with other maps.

Anyway, when I open the Run activity on the watch it will not show me any map whatsoever. It only shows the GPS pointer moving within the void. 

Anyone can help out?

    To be clear, "CourseView" provides detailed maps of golf courses. So probably not related to your issue.

    TopoActive maps are typically used during a GPS activity, such as running activity. It probably did not get fully installed. I'd suggest going back to Garmin Express and reinstalling the TopoActive map for your region.

    Hi Seilogramp, thanks for the tip. I was installing maps based on the updates suggested by GE and I didn't know about the rest of them stored in the software. I installed the correct one and now I can see the map during the run activity.
