4.04 Saved locations Icon sync bug

Unfortunately I’ve not been able to insert any image in here.

If change an icon on a F7xPro it doesn’t sync to GE.

If change an icon on GE it sync to GE.

I tested this with my GPSMAP 67, and there it seems to work correctly. As in, I created a waypoint in Explore, changed the icon, synced with GPSMAP, the correct icon shows up on the GPSMAP. Then I changed…

As stated in the other topic about cue / course points, the way course points icons are being handled between Explore app and Garmin devices seems to be somewhat of a mess. Probably the Fenix 7X Pro sets the course point type, and not the icon type (different pieces of data in the FIT file). Best report it to Garmin support to have them take notice of this.

I’m referring to regular waypoints (=saved locations)

You do not have access to cue course points on any device (afik)

So it looks like its more of a Fenix 7X Pro issue then an Explore issue.

I’ll have to live with that for a while once I’m holding the F7 on a stable firmware version (15.77) and won’t be able to report …
