Getting fitness data from sailing

FYI…Practicing and racing in my small dinghy (a Weta) was generating more Intensity Minutes than any of my cycling or swimming activities, but it had no effect on many other performance/fitness metrics, like Training Readiness, Endurance, Training Load, Recovery Load, Aerobic or Anaerobic benefit, etc.   But then I discovered that the Sail Racing App is treated as an official fitness activity (at least on my Quatix 7 Standard watch).  So now I can see the impact of sailing on those summary fitness measures, as long as I run the Sail Racing App while I’m sailing (whether actually racing, or practicing).  I suspect the other marine apps that come standard on the Quatix are not treated as activities.   If anyone knows of any marine apps that are treated as “activities”, please respond to this post.  I sure do wish Garmin would list, for each app, whether it’s treated as an activity or not, and which fitness measures it does/does not affect!  Also there should be a way to look up which apps can affect a given summary measure.
