19.34 Maps are useless

The map themes are all screwed up. They might be for the OLED and not MIP??

They're diffrent for each activity but they all suck.

I'm back on 16.xx.

Personally I have locked down on 17.28

None of the later firmware seems to have any value (Messenger app?) and bring more problems than they solve.

Don't think that changing brands will change things, I have them all and between, but I wouldn't save one. The problem is that for 1000 euros they should give us better products, we should start boyco…

One more software release from Garmin that breaks key functionality of the watch. For last year or so, Garmin has real issues with functionality of their software, plus they do tend to develop only having OLED in mind disregarding MIP fully until enough people complain for the mistake to be fixed. Same issue here again.

I agree, for years I have been using my watches to navigate when I trail run and with Garmin the map looks worse and worse.

Does this also affect 3rd party maps or only Garmin's TopoActive?

Same question re third party. I have maprando map installed but never been able to get working when deselecting topo and selecting third party I just simply get track line and no mapping

I have installed the Maprando maps according to the current version and they are displayed.

However, I was out and about with it today and the watch doesn't know where I am.

The watch is absolutely worthless to me right now.

Thank you for letting us know. I was about to buy a 7x pro because I want maps and battery life but now I'm sure its time for me to move on to Coros or Suunto.

I have a 7X Pro and considering moving to Suunto.. if you use the watch to navifate while running unfortunately Garmin is no longer the best option.

Due to unknown reason, the latest update still wasn't pushed to my watch.

Can somebody elaborate if this problem appears in their Pro series?
