Wrist gesture activated backgrund light on fw 19.34

Just installed the public fw 19.34. And now wrist gesture activated background light is on even if it says off in my settings menu.
Tried to toggle on and off again which works… until the watch is turned off and on again. Then the background light by wrist gesture is on again even if settings says the opposite.

F7SS. Anyone else?

Currently doing a full reset without installing any backup of settings and such. Boring as h*ll, but gonna see if that makes any difference.

However after 1 minute of turn on the problem disappears. At least for me.

yes, if you do not move waiting for this delay :-)

but the change is here and not handled by Garmin and generate other strange behaviors in some case

Have doen the setup again manually after a full reset back to factory settings. It does still come on after a reboot, but stops as described if the watch sits still for a minute.

Yeah, same here. Installed final 19.34 today. Noticed it after booting the watch. Got it off by turning wrist gesture on and right away off, tested it by booting the watch and it turns it back on. Annoying AF and bad for battery.
