  • I even tried Garmin's solutions, like reinstalling Garmin Connect, using airplane mode, and all the other suggestions, but I still don't understand what's wrong

  • Hello

I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. For this, I would recommend first checking the following:

    • Ensure the watch is up to date to the latest SW version, 19.34 using Garmin Express.
    • What is the wireless version listed in the watch menu? Menu, System, About, Scroll down. If the wireless version is showing as 0.00, you will want to try reinstalling the SW version:

    1. Press and hold the middle left button to access the main menu
    2. Scroll to System and select
    3. Scroll to About and select
    4. Press the light/power key 8 times in quick succession
    5. From this menu, scroll to Reinstall SW and select

    • If the wireless version is present, but this is still not pairing, I would recommend using these steps to try pairing again from scratch:
    1. Ensure the phone's OS is on the latest version
    2. Uninstall the Connect Mobile app
    3. Clear the phone cache and history
    4. Ensure the watch does not appear in the phone's Bluetooth menu. If it is, please remove the device
    5. Powercycle the watch and phone. To do this, hold the Light button until this shuts off. Then power on again
    6. Reinstall the Connect Mobile app
    7. Try the pairing again ( Be sure there are no other Bluetooth enabled device nearby)

If this issue continues, I would also recommend trying a full factory reset with these steps:

    1. Ensure the watch is powered off.
      • You may need to hold LIGHTfor up to 30 seconds to turn the watch off.
    2. Press and hold BACK and START/STOP.
    3. Press LIGHT to power the watch on while holding these two buttons.
    4. After the first beep release START/STOP.
    5. After the second beep release the remaining button.
