When using the on-watch course planner, say 5 km run in south direction I get no background maps during the activity. Only some relief map is visible which is of no use at all at this scale. Also in Garmin Connect app generated courses won’t show background maps. It’s frustrating because when in unknown territory you really want to see other roads a topographic info as a reference next to your own track. The maps (standard Garmin build in maps) work just fine in every other mode (during activity recording or panning the map to discover your surroundings). This problem occurs for some time now. I am on the beta plan (19.27) but the problem occurs also in the current version. Could someone try to experience the same or even better tell me what I have to do to solve this? Thanks!
