Fenix 7 Pro Solar Start/ Stop Button feels mushy and wobble

Hello,

I’ve had my Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Solar for about a month now and the start/ stop button suddenly became mushy and wobbling when pressing down.

Also it feels like a secondary click when pressed not too hard, it seems to be sligthly moving to left and right and also the crown more easily to turn/ spin.

I’ve search the forums and found results that people had this ‘issue’ since Fenix 7 but there are no obvious answers if this is a problem with all Fenix 7 series or something that was intentionally made to happen at some point by Garmin for different technical(i guess) reasons.

Hope someone got the answer because as a buyer of such product you expect the buttons to be clicky and firm forever! Not only a few weeks. Thanks!

It is not intentional, it is inconsistent or sometimes even very bad button quality on fenix 7 (pro and non-pro versions)

I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. It if not uncommon for there to be variation in the feel of the buttons. However, if you are feeling the buttons are loose as though they may be broken or are not responding, I would recommend contacting Garmin Product Support, as this may need to be replaced.
