Fenix 7s - Selective LiveTrack not functioning properly (triggering it for all activities)

Hi there,

I track many activities but only want the Livetrack for cycling activities (I cycle alone). There is a setting for that in the Garmin Connect App which I have selected. Sadly my Fenix 7s continues to start Livetrack even for walking and outdoor activities other than cycling.

Anybody encountering the same issue? What's the solution / workaround to trigger it for cycling only (without forgetting it)?

Unfortunately, there isn’t a direct way to set LiveTrack to auto-start only for specific activities like Cycling. The workaround is to turn off "Auto Start" in the app. When cycling, manually start LiveTrack…

Thank you very much. I thought it was possible due to this screen. It seems to imply that only cycling activities will be tracked.

Are you really wanting to do a GroupTrack session? This is a bit different than your original post.

Hi seilogramp, I believe that I understand the difference between Grouptrack and Livetrack now. I will have to learn to start livetrack manually :) Many thanks for the response.
