Beta 19.24

Oh my what a failure!!

It threw my max HR to 200+!

Ok

Tried to put it back where it belongs but oh my, Garmin doesn't read it.

See pic

Tried auto, tried manual, tried HR, tried all the settings, 0 changes!

My Garmin is Completely useless in this state !

  1. This has to be solved now or really I'll have to get a new brand like Suunto or Huawei

Not sure I understand - did you post about it already to the Bug section of the Beta Program? That's indeed the place where problems with beta firmware belong. Not here on the public forum - that's reserved for issues with the public releases.

However, in your case, I am not sure at all whether it is a bug or just a misunderstanding of the usage, since you did not post any details. Which activity type is on your screenshots with the HR gauge? Is it Running, Cycling, Walking, or something else? And which HR Zone table is on the other screenshots - is the the general one, or the one for Running or Cycling (I assume it is not the Swimming HRZ table). And if you are looking at the right table corresponding to the activity type you are using, did you try resetting the HRZ table, and adjusting it anew?

  • It doesn't upload there tried now

    Ok

Fenix 7s, hrm pro plus, indoor bike one hour after the 19.24 update and restart of both the watch and the phone

    Got up on it

My resting HR is 50, max on the bike 155

Started it with all the sensors connected.

    Surprise!

Pulse 130 and still in grey zone?

Ok, stopped and went to see the zones on my watch.

    Max set on 217????

Ok resetting it on the normal zones for me tried again, no change!

Resetting it to auto, no change, restart the watch...

Resetting it to BPM, to max HR, no change??

My Garmin is completely useless this way, 30 minutes of indoor bike on 130+BPM that should be high aerobic came out with 0 load and 80 kcal?!

Please correct that or give me back the last update that worked fairly good.

  • Did you edit the Cycling HR Zones table too, or just the generic one?

  • All of them except swimming

  • Please correct that or give me back the last update that worked fairly good.

BTW, this a user forum, we are users just like yourself and cannot do anything with your watch. If you wish to stop using the beta software, then leave the Beta Testing program. And as for downgrading to the last stable version - that's described in the Beta Program Wiki at How to return to Live software - Beta Wiki - Beta Program - Garmin Forums

  • Oh my, sorry, went back just to make sure and yes, 214max HR on cycling!

Hopping back up on the bike and it is correct now!

It never worked on cycling setting so far but sport HR.

    Oh, saved the day

    Thnx a lot

    Pray

  • I know but it won't upload the issue there

Anyway you've helped me solve it!

    Many thnx again

  • I’m glad you have it worked out but OMG stop with the rants and threats to switch brands.  At some point you agreed to join the beta program and should have read and understand the process along with the normal risks with beta. There are even instructions on how to go back to the main build.  I think this last beta was even an “ask only” rather than automatic.  Strongly suggest you withdraw from the beta

  • I did both.

    Thanks

  • Sorry, won't happen again

    Had a bad day
