Active Topo Map does not shows roads or mountain level info for hiking

Dear all,

I just get my fenix 7 and I have downloaded the ActiceTopo Europe map through WIFI directly from my watch.

It tooks 6 hours for download.

Once down, I select from my watch the menu Navigate to see how the map look likes.

What is strange is that the map is looking blank somehow as seen below.

What I mean, only main road are shown, I cannot see any small road for hiking or elevation lines for mountain like real topo.

Any idea what is going on and why the map is not showing all details ?

I suggest you use MapRando for mountain activities. That's what I use for hiking / trail / alpinism here in the Alps, more details and better elevation lines.

There is a Western, Central and Eastern European TopoActive map. Which one do you have activated on the watch and where in europe are you located?

Hello,

When I was requesting TopoActive Map download it was offering me only the single Europe globale version on the map and di not have any other choice.

I am based in france

Also check if you have "TopoActive Europe - West" active on the watch.

How can I select then afterwards that map for activities like hiking, and then use the active Top for cycling?

I have download the file and copy it to my watch but when I select it for an activity, then my watch displays only white sqare blocs without any road or hill

any idea ?

I Can confirm the same behaviour with Topo Active Europe. Personally I use third party maps just checked this today. All blank but when you zoom out 20 km there's actually more details. Something is going on for sure.
