It's only available in the Garmin Connect app in the "Sleepdata" section of the 1 day detailed view. You shoould have 10 datapoints there including Avg. Skin Temp Change.
So you have only 9 datapoints below Sleepdata section?
I have a section labeled Avg. Skin Temp Change but it is not showing anything in it. I reached out to Garmin and apparently my watch is a No WIFI version which for some reason did not get the temperature reading feature...
Do you find a temperature widget in the widget list?
Never heard of a Pro version that lacks the skin temp sensor, but apparently there is.
But if you want to check if it is really missing the skin temp ability, turn off bluetooth on your watch in the evening and connect your watch to a PC that does not have Express on it, and in the morning check if there is a file in /Garmin/SkinTemp. If there is nothing, the option is indeed missing, but If there is, the data is just not getting processed. After disconnecting from the PC, enable Bluetooth again and your data will sync as normal.
Yes, I was able to add the temperature widget to the menu so it can record/show the ambient temperature.
I will give this a shot - just to be clear, I simply plug the watch into the PC and not do anything else?

Somebody is misleading you. Unless I’m mistaken all F7 pro watches have WiFi. Go back to Garmin Support and find someone there who knows what they’re talking about.
Just open a file manager and look in the device storage in /Garmin/SkinTemp. If there is one or more files, the data is collected. If there is nothing: A) the data is already synced and visible in Connect or B) the data is not collected, something is wrong, and you have to call Garmin Support.
It's not the ambient temperature, its your skin-temperature, measured next to the pulse sensor (flashing LED's)

...although skin temperature is included in the specs below this watch.
