Tactix 7 watchface data keeps disappearing after 18.14 update

Since 18.14 update the stock watch face I use keeps having the data disappear randomly (except hr). It comes back if I press a button or notification comes through. This is the only watchface it does it on and has never done it before. Very infuriating as it’s my go to watchface. Anyone else experiencing this?

I am sorry to hear you are having this concern. Our engineers are investigating a couple concerns with the stock watch faces with SW version 18.14. I see you have HR set as a data field. Once of these concerns causes all data fields aside from HR to disappear, when the watch face times out when HR is added as a data field.

I’m also facing issues with the configuration of watchfaces days fields. on my Tactix since FW 18.14. Some of the data fields are being configured twice at a time, and some can’t configured

Same here with fenix 7 and one of data-rich faces from the iq store. Any ETA on the fix?

These issues started occurring in version 16.22. It took several software versions (read a long time) for Garmin to work on it and resolve it. They said it was resolved. Obviously not. So they will investigate again. More time will pass. Same story.

Hello Garmin-Laurie. Thank you for getting back in touch. I can confirm that after removing the HR from the data field I have observed (after nearly 24hrs) all other data fields are stable and remain displayed. Please feel free to add me to the report. Although I really appreciate this work around it isn’t a solution (I like to have HR visible) so hope that it can be resolved relatively quickly.

It is 18th of December 2024. After several months there is no viable fix in sight... I also like displaying my heart rate data, so it is visible at all times. Is it honestly that hard to fix the code?
