Meteo not updating with Iphone

Hi,

I have a Fenix 7X paired wth an Iphone 15 Pro Max. I receive notifications but my watch face is not updating (even native Garmin watchface). Meteo is not updated until I launch Garmin connect and synching the watch with the phone.

And after 1 hour, the watch stop syncing and the meteo widget is empty. I have to launch again Garmin connect.

Do you have an idea to have the watch always updating data without lauching every hour Garmin connect ?

I have the same problem and only solution Garmin has adviced is that to keep running the connect app all the time. I don't like their approach either, but that's the only feedback I have.

Thanks, I have the app running (background update activated), localisation "always" but I still have the problem.

Can you please tell me what are your settings ?

Running at background is not enough. You must keep the app opened all the time.
