Are you sure it should? AFAIK, the Text Responses work principally for SMS replies, and although it may work for some apps too (possibly just those able to communicate over Android's texting API), there is no guarantee it works with every messaging app. See also the document Customizing Android Text Responses in the Garmin Connect App | Garmin Customer Support for some more details on the feature.

More specifically, on the following document, it is written that the only function available for FB notifications is the function "Clear": What Options Do I Have to Interact with Notifications on a Garmin Watch? | Garmin Customer Support

OK, I see, in that case I do not know. Perhaps you could try to install an older version of the GC app from apkarchive.com to see whether the functionality is not broken just in the last app version.

Tried with Edge 530 and also does not work, it worked before. So i think it is a Messenger issue. It works with all other apps. I tried reinstall Messenger but didnt help, i dont want to reinstall Connect.

I have the same problem with 1030 plus and Epix Gen2

Same on my EPIX PRO Gen 2.

Strange, my wife has Venu 3s and has had the issue, just like me with EPIX PRO Gen 2.

 Is there an update on this?

I think there have been multiple GCM (Android) and Messenger app updates, but none of them resolved the isse some of us are facing which is the same that was initially described by the OP.
