Is the fenix 7 worth buying now the fenix 8 is out. In the UK I can get the fenix 7 for £349. Compared to the neatly £1000 for the fenix 8.

I'm wearing the regular 7 and it's brilliant. That's a great price.
That is certainly a good price. Regular 7 does not have SatIQ, but IMHO has a clearer display than the models that do have SatIQ as these all have sapphire. All in all the 7 is indeed brilliant!
I used to have basic silver F7 47mm. My F7Pro 47mm is worse since first day. It has much higher battery consumption with same settings (all systems or gps only) even with solar while on bike handlebars…
