[Fenix 7 Pro] Automatic GPS Position Update Without Starting an Activity

Hi, this should be the case using Garmin Connect on your smartphone

I'm using Garmin connect on my Android Smarthpone, full access, but it doesn't work at all

I still have to launc a activity , or to record a gps point to be correctly localised

The weather widget allows you to update the position. While in the widget you can press the start button to trigger it.

Thanks for your answer, Micha, but it doesn't solve my problem. I would like my GPS to make an automatic point (every hour?) to be able to update the weather according to my actual location (Paris weather is not very interesting if I am in London! :)

I did not see you want to update location regularly

Did you grant Garmin Connect to access  the phone's location? And is it set to allow always, not only while app in use.

And, do you have set the weather widget to use the current location?

"Okay, I believe I understood, and I’ve just set the phone location for "Connect"  to ‘always.’ It should work now!
