TopoActive Europe map download on fenix 7s pro SS- NOT WORKING

I am having trouble downloading TopoActive Europe map onto my fenix 7s pro SS- tried everything and every time it gets to 100 percent after hours, it says map sync failed. Tried downloading Garmin Express on my mac and it says it's not compatible with my watch, is that supposed to happen?
Starting to wonder whether I bought a fake watch... Appreciate any advice!! ;))

I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. For this, I have some additional questions. If Garmin Express is indicating this is not compatible, I would recommend trying a couple steps:

Try connecting the watch with another computer, and see if Express is giving the same error.
If you have access to a Windows computer, I would recommend completing the following steps:

Connect the watch with the computer
Open the watch drive
Open the Garmin folder
Locate and delete the GarminDevice.xml file
Disconnect the watch from the computer and power cycle the watch
Recommend the watch again
Launch Garmin Express
Add the watch
Then try the mapping install again

If there is no change, I would recommend contacting Garmin Product Support.

My Garmin express is working but I am having the same problem Downloading / Installing the TopoActive Europe maps - The same as the above user it gets to 100% then says map fails to sync

I have the same problem. Every time it gets to 100 percent after hours, it says map sync failed.

I tried Garmin Express. In Garmin Express I see three regions for Europe. I can't load the map of the West. Every time it stops at 70%. The download speed drops and I can leave it overnight, it does not go over 70%.

The map of Western Europe does not load. The file on the Fenix 7x SS TopoActive Europe is 6,5 GB. It should be over 10 GB.

I also tried with deleting the GarminDevice.xml file.

No luck.

I had to delete some biger files/maps in maps directory. I do not remember any more the details.
