How To Repair Glass Underside Of Fenix 7 Watch?

My watch flew off my wrist while riding my bike and the top sapphire screen is fine, but the glass underside with the heart rate sensor completely shattered. This sensor does not appear to be protected by Sapphire despite Sapphire being in the name of the watch...

What is the best way to get this repaired? Will a standard watch repair shop be able to handle the fix?

Edit: Contacted support and they are shipping a replacement (for a fee) and I will be returning the damaged model. Huge thanks and respect to Garmin!

Warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship, not accidental damage by the user -- for that you need insurance.

I doubt a watch repair shop would have a suitable replacement glass cover for the sensor. Your best bet is contacting Garmin regarding a repair.

Thanks for the heads-up. The watch was used for under 3 months so I'm sure you can understand the disappointment. Will contact support and see what they can do.

If you used a credit card for the purchase of your watch, check to see if it provides purchase protection. That would cover the watch against theft or damage for a limited time.
