Fenix 7 pro saphire solar single activity not syncing to Garmin Connect app

I have an activity on my watch that won't sync. My usual method is to simply bluetooth sync with Garmin Connect app on iphone. Everything else seems to be fine - I have also tried Garmin Express on my Mac (I have used it to sync maps) but it also doesn't seem to bring over that activity.

How can I get it to sync? It shows up on the watch activity history fine.

Hello

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble syncing the activity. This could indicate the activity FIT file is corrupted, and Connect is not able to read it. However, since you have already tried syncing this with Express, I would next try manually importing this to the Connect account.

For this:

Connect the watch with a Windows computer
Sign into the Connect account
Click on Activities on the left
Click on All Activities
Click on +Import
Click on Browse
Open the watch drive
Open the Garmin folder
Open the Activity file (this could also appear in the TempFIT file)
Locate and select the activity
Click Open
Click Import Data

Whether importing this is successful or not, it would be recommended to delete the FIT file from the watch. If this is corrupted, it could negatively impact future activities.

This worked, thanks. The FIT file did not appear to be corrupt as it imported correctly. Why do you suggest deleting it as it seems fine on the watch? Why would a previous activity file impact future activities? Thanks

While it may turn out that keeping the activity on the watch does not effect anything, there is potentially something about the activity that prevented it from syncing via normal paths. So this can be a sign of a minor corruption, which could impact the watch's performance. But again, this step is up to you. Only recommended.

its not working for me. It says that the file has already been uploaded, but then it doesn't show on activities. I click on take me to the activity, and then the data on the activity is just corrupt.

Not working. Apparently the activity is uploaded, but I can't see it on all activities. When I click on "view details" it shows an odd activity.

Its taking me to another issue, which is more when you have two files and one is corrupt.

Some users have reported this issue to Garmin Support. Hopefully, Garmin is aware and working on a fix.
