Hunting Profile Off-Road Navigation

It just draws me a Direct line on the map. Software 17.28

changing to Gravel or MTB the Watch is calculating a correct Route.

do you experience the same issue?

I assume this is intended. Usually hunting is done away from any roads and paths on the map.

However, in the routing settings of the hunting activity you can change that behavior by setting the routing routing type to e.g. hiking

thats what I meant when changing the routing setting to gravel or mtb. With "Car" or "Off Road Vehicle" the watch is drawing just a straight line on the map but isn't routing me

I believe that's due to the TopoActive map type. I ran into this issue years ago with the my f6Pro. Here is a link from the f6 forum that addresses this issue:

Ah thank you. Strange that Garmin offers this routing option then...

Probably its the easiest way just to use a profile like gravel and avoid "narrow tracks" when using the 4x4
