Strava and Garmin are properly connected, but cannot get segments to show up in Garmin Connect App

I know Strava and Garmin accounts are properly connected as the 'courses' sync works perfectly - I star them in Strava and they appear right away in Garmin Connect App. But I star segments, and they don't sync over to the app? Anything else I need to do to get live segments working? Just see this screen.

You won't see them in GC (web or app). The Segments will, however, automatically sync to your watch.

It’s written on your screenshot. You will need to use the Strava app.

Ah, got it. That's confusing as routes use the same 'starring' method and DO show up in Garmin Connect before they sync over. They didn't show up on my watch at first even though I'm pretty sure it had synced but are there now.

Would be a nice feature for the Strava segments show up in GC. Maybe someday.
