Fenix 7 Pro saphire solar can't see other TopoActive Maps to download in Map Manager

I'm in North America but planning to travel to Europe for a race. In Map Manager on the watch, I hit the 'add map' - it connects to Wifi, says 'Requesting Map Update Data' but then just buzzes and returns to the previous screen where it still only shows the North America map. I was expecting a list to choose from to download - do I need to be in the location to download that region or something? I may not have good wifi so was hoping to pre-download. I have updated to latest firmware 17.23

If you have access to it, use Garmin Express.

Yeah, I have the same issue! Just buzzes and goes back to the ‘Add Map’ option. I want to try tomorrow two things:

1- See if I can manage using Garmin Express

2- Try a different WiFi network

Another thing you can try is maybe doing this whole thing again while the watch is plugged in, could be a power requirement to let you download maps?

Seeing as how I’m finding more people with the same issue, I’m hoping Garmin weighs in here!

I took the advice and tried Garmin Express and it worked well. Looks like it must be a user interface bug on the watch.

Probably! I had an Epix Pro 51mm that tripped out after the 17.23 update and I exchanged it for a Fénix 7 Pro. I hope Garmin fixes these bugs in patch 17.24!
